Coming along nicely 99, Looks like it's gonna be fun.

Gonna feel like having a KB in there tho, I'd think somewhere around 380rwhp and like 490+lb/ft of torque.

Good luck man

i bought my motor mounts today, the steering shaft is in the car, steering rack is in the car, the headers are held in with bungee cords, and seem like they are going to clear the steering shaft WAY better than they would in a fox car **my engine bay is bigger**....theres a TON of work before the motor is ready to be set in it

frame rails repaired
holes all filled in
wires tucked
painted

then its ready for the motor

hopefully ill get a pic for you soon of the motor dropped in to test fitment, but it wont be nice and pretty yet, because the body work wont be done....ill post a few more pics in a few

heres how the engine bay is going to look, this is my buddys notch, he is the one that is going to be doing the work, so its going to be identical to how that one looks...except painted lol

my shiny new parts!

motor/trans ready to drop in...missing the motor plate, and theres no gaskets in the valvecovers...just put together to check fitment

still needs pulled back out, this is just mock up....engine bay still hasnt been cleaned up, but its rolling now with new k member and suspension, so now it can be rolled out and powerwashed...then some welding and painting

that isnt my carb, its just one that we had laying around and slapped on there to see about hood clearance...not going to be able to run an air filter unless we cut a hole in my hood, which is a possibility, but leaning more towards something else, aluminum shield that runs to back of the hood

looking good in there. not super tight, but a little squeeze.
the 4.6 is a wide motor too.

would one of those carb hats that they use for boosted carb'd cars work?
