Good to see some progress. It'll all come out easy!

I'm not claiming that I know it all, and that you are wrong, but I would look into the slip yoke on your driveshaft actually fitting the C6. My 99 GT stock driveshaft had the stock yoke on it and it wouldn't go in my C4. So we tried to put a foxbody yoke in the front of a 99Gt d-shaft and that wouldn't work either. They are totally different.

Also, I'm not sure how everything measures in your build, but I would have actually had to LENGTHEN my stock driveshaft. I am running a spacer on the fox driveshaft just for now until I can get a custom one made. But the C4 is a little joker, compared to a C6.

Manual brakes and manual steering rack were great ideas. You will like it. I cut all the lines on my stock rack and (while keeping fluid inside) looped the lines. It actually turns ALOT better than I expected, but a manual kit will be 10x better. My brakes SUCK tho. I am going to have to run a vacuum pump. It almost kills the motor when I stab the vacuum assist brakes. lol. It's a freaking mess. Manual brakes will be on the car in the future.

idk much about the c4 stuff...but the drive shaft isnt a real big concern... my buddy did this swap on his fox and used his stock driveshaft i thought, but shortened it...if it doesnt fit though, ill deal with it come the time, thanks for the heads up...c6 is a bit bigger than the c4

and yea im a bit nervous as to how the steering will be...i drove a geo metro once and i hated it...but you gotta make sacrifices somewhere lol...the quick ratio rack should help out a lot

and were re-running all the brakes...hell we clipped the lines and pinched them off to get them outta the way without draining them lol.... getting rid of the abs and stuff so were going to run new lines...i will probably pick up a line lock kit also while were at it

oh, and **** the pushrod for the brakes....it was so freaking hard getting up behind the peddle to get that thing off...it took me 10 min to get 1/3 bolts and then my buddy got the last 2

You can use a fox driveshaft. Just not a stock 99-04. They have different yokes than a T45 or 3650. the T-5 and C4/6 are the same tho.

Uhh, yea on the brake rod. Try doing it 2 times in a row all by yourself! I pulled one out of a 88GT then brought it over to my car and had to take mine out and that the old one in. It was a mess!

Just read this thread from page one to the last post. Great Job on the build. Good luck on the swap.
