I don't think I could part with my mustang for a miata. My brother was really hung up on miatas for a little while, I just never could get into them. I def like the idea of a small/nimble car though...so I could deal with owning both!

Not much into speed anymore. I just want something that is a fun cruiser. The Mach is fun don't get me wrong but I can't watch it drive through winter.

If you don't have the money for a Buick, how do you have money for a Miata? And no offense, but aren't those little cars for guys who ride with other guys? I read somewhere it's in the top 5 cars for gay men, something about hugging the road like man hugs a man. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

They are one of the most popular autocross cars. Don't be so close minded.

I would just get a turbo set up. 220 rwhp in a 2300lb car is decent.

On the Miata do a positive displacement supercharger, that way you get predictable linear torque from idle.

Ya I have seen both done. Either way, it doesn't take much power to make the car move decently.
