turbo
if i were to try to piece together a turbo kit using the masterpower...what components would i need to make it work? if i can find all of the parts i will possibly go this route and sell the headers =[
turbo, blow off valve or bypass valve, mass airflow meter (i suggest pmas hpx), wastegate (i run a 44mm), new injectors (i suggest at least 52 lb. high impedence), fuel pump (im running twin svt pumps but would suggest just the twin cobra assembly with a boost-a-pump until you need to upgrade), k member kit (not needed but will make your life alot easier in building the kit), flanges (downpipe, v-bands, turbo inlet), intercooler and tubing kit, turbo oil feed and drain lines, possibly a scavenging pump depending on where you mount the turbo, steel tubing to make the hotside, tuner
ok thanks, im assuming that if i like got a new fuel pump and injectors first and put em in that would be fine? cuz it seems like turbo and s/c both need em so i may as well do what both need til i make my final decision, would i see a performance increase doing that or not really?

well cuz i alrdy have a tuner so i would be able to have it retuned to the correct size injectors, i was just wondering if it is really worth it at all to do like the fuel pump and injectors by themselves, i do plan on making a list a scratching off =] lol
Hello, I am currently doing a turbo setup, and you can flip your stock shorties. I would find your stock ones or buy a set off ebay. I flipped mine forward, go to
http://www.mandrel-bends.com
and you can buy all the piping there. I beleive 250 bucks with shipping. I dont know if you can weld or not, if not, go to a muffler shop. You can even keep the stock ends on your manifolds, you need to have the tips of the pipes opend out, then you can use your stock clip to tighten them onto your stock shorties. There will be ALOT of 90 degree's going on in the passanger side, but that's all. 304 stainless is perfect, but because you had to open the ends out, you will need to make a bracket for the turbo that will connect to your engine, i hoooked mine up to the bolts that are right next to the tensoner. Anywho, it will work fine unless you want crazy boost over 18's then you will need to get stainless shorties and have them chopped and have a flange welded on. GL!!
