It is a 26x11.5x15 Hoosier QTP, dot bias-ply tire. It is a true 26" tire unlike the so-called stock size "26" 17" tires. Also a bias-ply tire will "grow on the top end and will be bigger that 26" through the traps.

Yes, it takes a lot of HP to need a 28".... it will kill your N/A times for sure. My limiter has been at 6500 for a few years now. Of course it never goes to 6500 unless I blow a shift. lol

Not to hi-jack the thread but....

I actually though about stepping down from a 28" but I think I trap too high and if I ever step up to a 150 or 200 I'll be SOL. I may go with a 26" MT for my 17's and keep my 28's on my 15's or do you think I should step it down? Keep in mind my lowly little turd makes peak power at 6k

ON EDIT: a true 26" would put me at 6500rpm at 122.6 mph, If it grows by .5 (which I don't know if it would at the slow of a speed) it would be 6350rpm at 122.1 mph

Bench racing at it's best > If I could ever get a good launch (~1.50) and hook up on spray I think I could get a 11.teens on only a 100 shot. I've only ran it on the nittos on the spray (1/2 empty bottle) with this setup and got a best of crappy 1.87. Comments on this???

I think if I ever do a 150 it would go 124mph though.

yeah I saw that MT has a 27" ET Street, but I kinda want to go with a ET Street radial on my 15's.
