Long Tube Headers & off road install questions
so im thinkin about doing long tube headers and an "off road" setup.....my questions for you guys are:
for the headers, is it totally neccessary to pick the motor up a couple inches? (and if so, where would you guys mount chains to get an engine hoist on there?)
and other than temporarily taking parts off to snake the headers in, are there any parts that need to be changed out or modded to make long tube's work? ( steering linkage, and that starter looks close...?)
and for the rest of the setup, what do you guys do with the O2 sensors if your runnin an "off road" setup?

when i installed my mac headers we dropped the k and used a tool too support the motor on the strut towers. with the macs the sterring shaft fit right in no problems and the dip stick tube didnt have to be messed with like i have seen with other brands. you will need o2 extentions for the front two and the back two can either be turned off via tuner or you can put in mil eliminators. also the egr connection will have to be swapped over or you could also get a delete, mine fit right into the macs perfect. oh and we did have to take the starter off basically for more room to work. hope that helped.
