A couple of things:

1.) When I get out of my car and shut either door, something from the motor, makes a rather loud and noticeable hissing sound. It;s almost like its coming the radiator or something but I cannot be certain and really dont know what it is. No leakage is on the ground or anything.

2.) When the car gets a chance to warm up, typically after driving a good amount, when it is in drive and I have my foot on the brake when it is simply idling, a very loud whistling/chirping noise hapens. It literally sounds like a small bird chirping, something along those lines.

The car only has 45k on the clock and it runs great other that that. I hope you guys can help me out.

1. Not too sure of. Possibly condensation from the condensor dripping onto the headers?
2. I would love to know as well. I have it, but didn't think much of it yet, that just started. And it does sound just like a little canary singing.

 

Hmm, yes these are both pretty weird noises. Does anyone else have any ides to what they could be?

I have both noises as well, as far as the fist one is concerned i usually notice it when i have the a/c on, so i think its probably the compressor or something, anyways i dont think its bad at all.

The second noise is the drive idler pulley or the idler pulley, but probably the drive pulley since its in drive when the sound appears, just replace it and that should be it.

 

How much do you think that would be, around $150 or so?

 

Ya man do you notice the first noise after you have the ac on or if its raining if so its just water dripping on the exhaust pipe i nociced the same thing once and water from the ac was dripping right on my H-pipe

 

Yeah it sounds exactly like that. I think you guys are right about that one so I dont think I need to worry about that. About the second thing though, does anyone know how much it would cost?
