AFS wheels look awesome. And the only reason why im not saying get the 03's is because you already have 10.5 wide tires in the back, why go backwards to a 9 wide tire??? I mean you have 4.10's already and i bet they are hard enough to hook up on the tires you have. And i think the bullitts really look good on your car now that youre lowered. Find something else to spend that money on. Like maybe some control arms or some 31 spline axles and an 03 cobra differential or something so you can launch better at the track or something. I dont know what your driving tastes are. You could also have a set of adjustable shocks and struts for that much too incase you like going through the twisties like jazzer. lol but i wouldnt change your wheels honestly. Lots of better things you could spend your money on right now.

Yea your prob right lol. I might just have to pick up a set of 31 splines. I do kinda like the look of the 9's though. and i need new tires on the back anyways

I've done some Budgeting and Heres what i've concluded

If i dont buy the 03's for $500 then i will have roughly $585 to spend on mods

if i do buy them then i will still have $335 to spend on mods.

ahhh so tough! i know for sure im getting a Tri ax before mustang week

Maintenance, as in having to wipe them often, right? Maybe you drive your car more and your brakes shed a lot more dust than stock setups, but I either wipe mine once a week or go to the car wash and blast the **** out of them.

Im sooo jealous boduke!!! I was planning on going to mustang week with some friends for my birthday since its that week but they all backed out on me. And yea, you'll love the triax. So how did your budgeting work out to have 335 to mod after the 500 wheels when if you dont buy the wheels you only have 535??? did you mean 835??? If so, id get the 31 splines because you'll only have to pull the diff and put the ring gear back on it and stick it in there. Big part of that install is already done since you already have the gears. And then some decent cheap control arms seem like they would be a good idea too.

dang man that blows, i cant wait. i've never been before!

i really dont like to tell people my finances but since im only 17 and it aint that much..who cares lol

i try to keep $1000 in savings at all times so that leaves me with $1285.

If i get tires ( crappy ****omo's. thats about $250)

1285-250= 1035

i wanna have $450 for MW so thats $585

but those cobra's for $500 come with tires so subract tha $250 and we have $335

Gotcha bro. You'll love it down there. My dad took his 68 GT500KR down there 2 years ago along with our friend who has a 66 GT350 with a dealer installed paxton supercharger documented and they had a special spot reserved for us when we got there. lol There really isnt much old stuff. Mostly termies and 94+ cars. So you will fit in very well. Im in the same boat as you with finances minus the dilema about affording mustang week. I dont care about how much money i have in the bank because after school starts in the fall, its all just gonna be save save save. So ima spend money on my car over the summer while i have money coming in and can convince myself to do it. But I may still end up down there for mustang week with my parents for my birthday. But to tell you the truth, i would not buy sumitomos when the nitto nt05s are about 100 more for the pair of them or so. And just keep the bullitts. They look good on your car and if you go with the cobras, you'll have less tire out back to hook the 4.10's. But good luck down at mustang week man. If you plan to go in future years, I'll be there because ive already planned out that week with friends for the next couple summers. Keep us updated on what youre gonna do. And id suggest finding some way to make your car hook for when you go cus you know youre gonna want to do the drag night at myrtle beach speedway. So make her hook and come back at us with some good times from Mustang Week.
