Default Predator Tuner Question

I am looking at a used predator tuner and I have a couple of questions...

1. From what I understand, once married to my car, the tuner will have 2 tunes on it. One will be the original factory tune and the other will be the "Performance" tune, correct?

2. The "Performance" canned tune that comes preloaded on the tuner is what sets me up to run 93 octane, correct? My car is mostly stock with the exception of exhaust but the parameters changed within the canned tune are all designed to be run on stock equipment, right?

3. If the previous owner has modified the performance tune at any point, will it default back to its original settings when it is unmarried from his car or will it maintain all the parameter changes that he programmed into it?

Thanks in advance...

Why buy a tunwr? You will benifit more from other things.... you are gonna spend $5 more at the vpump for minimal gains....on my sct, I had 3 custom slots and then just canned tunes. I think it wouldbea better idea tohold off and then after more bolt ons have someone like brenspeed writea custom tune

i have the diablosport... i know with my v6 auto it worked wonders.. but with my GT 5spd, i installed it the day i got it so idk if it made a difference.. i can tell you that my car seems to be more responsive and i dont have to push traction control everytime i get in my car lol

Once the guy un-marries the tuner from his car, his settings for his tune will be erased... you will than be able to upload the performance tune and tune for your own parameters

I think you're right...I'll probably hold off. I think Modular Powerhouse uses SCT anyways, so it would prob make more sense to go that route if I eventually have them do any dyno tuning.
