I have a 2004 GT and I'd really like to swap out my slushbox for a 5 speed. I'm wondering if anybody else has ever done this, and if so what would be involved. Would this be something that could be done at your avarage run of the mill transmission shop, or would I have to find a specialty shop? And what would be the estimated cost? I'm also wondering if I'd have to sell the old one on e bay, or could I get some kind of credit for it at the shop. Any info on this is much appreciated.
