You don't want it over the max line, just put it 3/4 the way up to the max line and you will be set.

As long as the oil is showing up somewhere between min and max you're good. It's really not rocket science.

And your exhaust plan isn't going to work. If you take the resonators out, the tail pipes are going to hang there, and bang around, and probably hit the ground. There aren't any hangers for them except on the tips. You're gonna have to put something connecting the beginning of the catback to the tail pipes where the mufflers were. Even a piece of pipe if you want it to sound like ****.
