go catless! I friggin hate those things even though it's illegal here in Cali however I stored my stock H-pipe for my smog check next year. You're engine will breath smoothly and you will gain HP! H or X pipe whatever, to me performance is the key!

It's illegal in MN but we don't have inspections... so the chances of getting caught are some what slim.

Get rid of the shorty headers, get Mac Lts and a Mac O/R H pipe and you would have one sweet sounding stang!

just DON'T get a ticket from cops for speeding or such cuz they'll check that, and every other tom-dick'n-hairy thang on your stang >> window tint, tires, etc etc

go catless. just weld heat sheilds on like stock and you should be fine even if they do the visual inspection. I have an o/r x pipe on my car right now and i think it sounds awesome. Could be louder but its better than the catted x pipe. The x pipe will give you more of a racecar sound and will be slightly louder than an h pipe. H pipes are more of a muscular sound...even though the x sounds pretty muscular to me. But i'd go catless and keep your stock h pipe for emissions.

Cats really depend on where you live. For Pa there are some parts that require it (philly & close burbs) and others that don't (pennsyltucky)

it is a federal law that you must have converters. Just because your county/state does not do inspections does not mean it is legal.
