Blew the last motor, wihch was a 4v and couldn't afford one so got a really good deal on a 16v with trans for like 900 installed. :/

That doesn't answer the transmission question... Your transmission should work fine with a 4v motor.

Really! So, my 98 gt transmission would work with a cobra engine? lol
