Gears

There is a speed shop in my area that will install Ford racing gears for 450. that includes gears and labor... is that a good price and will I notice a seat of the pants difference from stalk gears to 3.73's? I dont know what exactly my future mods are but I think for everyday drive ability and fuel mileage I don't want to go 4.10's..... its a 5 speed. thanks
BTW, how do you like your SSS exhaust?

I am trying to get it on today.... it took longer than I expected to get here. It looks pretty good, mufflers are wide open. Thanks again and I will let you know later tonight, I hope!!

I just installed 4.10's on mine last week and it wasn't to bad. Like they said you have to get everything right and not rush anything or it will mess up your rear end. Its more of an art form then anything else really. But $450 is a fairly good price. I don't trust any of the shops around me to do that so me and my mechanic went to town. It took us about 6 hours.

450 is a good price if your planning on f/i anytime soon leave the 410s alone and go with 373s,also you will have to get ur speedo corrected if you have ur own tuner it should be free if you dont they may charge you to reflash you computer
