Why don't you just reverse the charges on your credit card and move on?
With respect to VVME, I've had a set of their dual beam lights on my Motorcycle since April 2009. Since then I've had to replace one of the bulbs but the lights are working fine today still. I have another set of single beam lights (low beams) from them on my wife's Rav4 since late 2011. No problems to speak of.
