Default 5.4 block with 4.6 heads?

2007 Mustang GT 4.6 Hellion turbo kit 62mm turbo 39 lb injectors dual cobra fuel pumps

I am looking into purchasing a built 5.4 block and turning up my boost! Could I use my 4.6 heads with this and still gain considerable power? I make 500rwhp the way the car sits now with stock motor and hellion turbo kit. Not very knowledable when it comes to building motors. Chime in and educate me please!!

--Just noticed I posted in the wrong section..sorry!!

you have to get a 3v 5.4 block
you can swap 4.6 2v/4v heads on a similar 5.4 block but not 3v heads

modifications to the exhaust will be needed and if you opt out of the s197 throttle, there will be some tinkering there.

The 5.4 has the same crap internals as the 4.6 and if you install the 5.4 you better have some amazing heads to go on it cause you're going to run out of air for any real RPM's and boost. Why don't you spend some time searching the site on your topic. Everything you need to know has already been said.

3v heads are a straight swap. Just make sure you buy an 03+ "NVH" 5.4 block, not that you really HAVE to, but its a stronger block and will run quieter.
