Sounds cool to me, what trans options do you have with that? Sorry for my lack of knowledge with anything transmission related outside of C6s

i got the sullivan intake kit that was specifically made for dropping the 5.4's into mustangs. sullivanperformance.com its pretty nice. i'm dumb with forums and stuff, if you look at my garage on here i have pictures of the engine. i have a 1.5 inch cowl from the cobra R and theres a dude in florida who did it to a 2001 gt frame and he said it WILL work, so there ya go. had a problem when i got the 4.6 out yesterday, wrong flywheel for a 5.4 the vin. number on my car indicates that i have an 8 bolt flywheel, which, with the sn95s with the 4.6, they had 6 AND 8 bolt, well i have a 6 bolt, wont work. i ordered a new clutch and flywheel kit from f1 racing and so my poor car is just sitting in my parents garage with 2 engines sitting next to it. i feel so bad, but the vin number said it should have the 8 bolt, oh well. racing parts comin or whatever. i'll have it done by next weekend FOR SURE! i hate when stuff like that happens, unfortunately with cars, it ALWAYS happens. by the way, i like that 3 inch cowl man, it looks sick on your car. as far as the shopping cart stang, i cried. i talked to scott sullivan on the phone the other day cuz he has been emailing me about the swap and he said the engine should push just under 390 hp and like 350 tq. we'll see, that would be amazing, but im thinking like 330 hp at most. idk, he seemed confident. nice dude, check out their stuff. very nice. hope everyone had a great safe halloween. more to come.

The PCM stays the same except for the COP (Coil on Plugs) wiring. Here's a pretty comprehensive list as to what we did.1998 Mustang GT
4.6 2V to 5.4 4V Conversion

1. 2004 Lincoln Navigator Engine
2. 96-04 Cobra Thermostat Housing
3. 98 Cobra hoses (Including heater hoses)
4. 98 Cobra heater pipe (mounts to right head)
5. Sullivan Intake and Throttle body adapter w/Fuel rails and regulator
6. 99-01 Cobra throttle cable
7. JLT Performance 90 deg Elbow w/silicone reducer and 80mm MAF spacer
8. Spectre filter and MAF adapter
9. 96-01 Cobra shorty headers
10. 03 Cobra throttle body
11. Acufab Cobra R hood 1 1/2 ‘ (Rubs a bit)
12. 98 Cobra alternator
13. Used the sensors from the 98 GT
14. Modified Cobra coolant X-over tube. Had to widen it and add fitting for second coolant temp sensor used by 98 GT.
15. 98 GT drive belt works fine
16. Modified the 4.6 oil pan
17. Fabricated power steering bracket to fit below CAI.
18. Used the 4.6’s injectors.
19. Used the 4.6’s oil cooler/filter mount
20. Needed new flywheel (8bolt)
21. Extended some sensor wires and wired the 5.4’s ignition wiring to run with 98 GT’s PCM
22. Used the IAC from the Navigator
