If you could manage to find a consistent dyno, the DS should free up 2-5 rwhp, maybe a few more... or less. I don't see how it couldn't.

He said 180 labor was that for the loop install and driveshaft install or was that extra time he added in for the driveshaft install?? I would imagine its for both but u never know these days. If thats just extra time he added do that yourself it only takes 15 mins to install a driveshaft.

$180 to install a DS and safety loop is rediculous!

Do you realize when you install a D/S loop you gotta pull the seats?

Really? I didn't know that. The only reason i said that is because my shop charged me $30. I had them throw it on when i was having my gears put in. They charged me $60 to do the ds and loop together.

yea, i told him im going to take the seats out and free the carpet up for him to save on labor so i would imagine itll be less than 2 hours at that point..he just told me no more than 2 hours labor, and he charges 90 an hour... he was just going to throw the driveshaft in for no additional fee, but i wont have the funds for it anyway...i do see how easy it is to install so if i decide to get one later on i'll do it myself...

since im going to do the seats and carpet myself im assuming i'll be closer to pay a 1 hour labor fee than a 2, he was basically giving me worst case scenario

Why do you have to pull the seats? Don't you just weld the Hoop to your sub-frame connectors?
