Default Need Transmission Dipstick Tube

Anyone know of a source for a new tube? Evidently the transmission in the 96 GT I bought has been replace or previously removed and they bent the dipstick tube so it now leaks.

You need to find out if it was replaced with the stock trans or not.
If it is stock, look on drivers side door jamb, under TR.

The transmission code is:

5—Five-speed manual (T5OD/TR3150) — base
B—Six-speed manual (T56), Cobra
K—Five-speed manual (TR3650), GT
U—Four-speed automatic (AODE/4R70W)

Thanks for the link but they only go up to 1993 the skip to 2005. Can't get one from the dealer, they discontinued them. Was hoping someone on the board had one laying around they wanted to sell.

Try these guys Prestige Mustang Parts, I have had good experience with them--don't be afraid to "dicker"...

Cliffy - you are the man! They had the tube. A little pricey but I got them to thrown in shipping so it wasn't too bad. I appreciate the link!

Yeah, they are a real junk-yard--don't ever go for the first price they quote...
