CEL's for tranny issues. My bet is that his torque converter isnt locking and thats why there isnt any power. Just my diagnosis.

stage 3 heads are for bored out engines only i thought. for the intake valves hitting the cylinder walls?

You don't need it bored over. It will increase performance but is not required. However, you WILL have piston to valve issues if you didn't flycut your pistons or notched them. I don't see that you did... You probably smashed everything up and ruined your pistons heads even possibly your cams...

Yes. The stock bore shouds the intake valve and hinders performance, however it won't affect the performance like this.
