I have a 1999 mustang GT. I have the motor out, and have it completely torn down. I have the crankshaft caps out and all, but i still cannot seem to get the dern crank out. Does the crank need to be in a certain position or something? I have tried for about an hr now, and help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

 

did you take the cap off the back of the block?

 

if you're talking about the 5th cap (with the 5 and arrow stamped on it, then yes...)
