I have a 1996 mustang . I bought it a year ago and now I actually have time to put into fixing it up! I am not very car savvy so I just have a few things wrong with it and I am getting ready to take it to a garage and I just dont want them to say I need much more work than I really need. First off I have a whining noise in my engine that is constant, you can barely hear my exhaust because you hear more of the whining noise than anything else. People have told me its power steering pump (it does it even when i am not turning) it could be a loose belt or the alternator so I dont know. Also My heater and air only work on high, and when i Have it on it feels like my engine is going to stall (RPM's drop ) Also I had my throwout bearing replaced about 5 months ago and now to describe how it sounds to me it sounds like there is a hole in my exhaust, I am not saying thats what it is but thats what it sounds like inside my car. It didnt make that noise until after i got it changed. Anybody ever have any of these same problems I would take any advice on what these could be. Thank you and i look forward to fixing up mustang!
