if not that, save it for something bigger.
yeah i wasnt too happy when i got the car back after the motor work... When i first got it home the starter wasnt working... Went to my uncles house cause he has a lift and hes a mechanic and the ground wasnt connected. There wasnt even a nut on there. that was problem 1. the second problem was the radiator hose was barely on the the bottom of the motor. The clip wasnt on either. And my tranny went months later and when we pulled it we noticed there as no pilot bearing! So we contacted the guy who did the motor in Pa to tell him everything. Needless to say my dad was pissed. Well apparently someone else was pissed too cause someone burned the guys shope down and we havent heard form him since... Lastly when his buddys dyno shop did the tune he said the brakes were dragging a little which caused a 5% power loss and theres no way he couldnt have gone past 5krpms because when i got close to 5k after i got the car back it would shake violently and stop making power. He said he didnt even touch the timing as well. With all that being said i think with a good 93 tune. Ill be close to if not over 300rwhp. What do you suggest though? Maybe giving a call to brenspeed? I have a sct3 just so you guys know.

you should be well over 300rwhp, probably 315ish. a PI gt (lower compression than you) with stage 1 cams alone will be just shy of 300rwhp with a good tune. you have higher compression and ported heads.

i'd find a reputable dyno tuner in your area. mail order tunes aren't the best option.

yeah i agree ^^

Sounds like your local speed shops are full of hacks. In the past, I've found that the best places to take your stang is to a shop that specializes in stangs.
With the 225 that you have, I would just grab a few dress up items for the interior or put it towards a higher dollar mod that you need.
Like I said in my last post, I looked at your mods and missed the fact that you already had an sts.

I really hope you do a dyno tune!!!! Don't waste your $$$ on a mail order tune, thats for people with a K&N and a catback. And you should do a 91 or 93 tune, whatever you have out there... thats my vote

okay well i think ill put this away and save up for a good 93 dyno tune. And it wasnt a local shop at all it was a 2 hour drive from where i live right next to raceway park. The place was out in PA I guess i just had bad luck. The shop was specialized in mustangs haha. Ill have to start looking for some dynos around here. Ive already emailed a couple places and the prices are around 400+ including dyno time though so thats not too bad. Anyone know of any places? Im willing to drive to Pa or NY if the prices are cheaper.
