Your trans is probly just fine with those couple of missed shifts. I don't think the trans would have hit the market if one or two missed shifts would spell boom. Granted it's not something you want to get in the habit of doing.

I was asking about it because I haven't tried it yet and I just converted my car to a manual. So do I mash in the clutch too?

Everything is the same except you don't let go of the gas. Hit the clutch, shift, and let go of the clutch as fast as possible so you don't rap out your motor too long. If you get fast enough, you should be basically just stomping the clutch and shifting at the same time almost and releasing it as soon as the clutch pedal hits the floor. Meanwhile, don't let go of the gas and keep your eye on the road, cause you'll probly loose a little traction and may need to correct if the *** end starts sliding out.

good point....your 1-2 shift if you have a normal car normal tires and do a good powershift on the street youll fry the tires in 2nd lol. if you run stickier tires or somthing you may not with lower power levels. Before i geared my car i powershifted and just chirped 2nd at the strip, but thats track prep for ya

Wow that looked good. I plan on buying some welds and getting sticky tires for the back. I just put on 4 brand new street tires when I did my conversion. Not really sure how the car will even act yet. Haven't had a chance to drive it. It is sitting waiting for an alignment(kmember install, cc plates, and uca/lcas in the rear.) plus the weather is still nasty.

But I think it has a proshifted transmission so it makes powershifting a lot easier I heard
