Default my 2001 GT

Hello everyone. I am currently putting my stang back together after having tranny malfunctions. I am currently looking to do some mods with it. But i am rather curious. I am looking at getting a ram clutch kit. Also some bbk headers. Also i was wondering about motor mounts. What kind should i get? Just regular mounts or should i go with poly???? Also what about after market single coil packs??? I dont have a lot of money but am looking into stuff and need opinions. i have the obvious cold air intake and flowmaster exhaust. But looking for some more horsepower and not a huge pocket buster. Let me know and thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

-havent heard anything positive about ram clutches
-bbk fitment isn't the greatest, look for another brand
-i'd go with polys
-aftermarket coil packs are worse than the stockers

why do you need motor mounts?

I have a ram clutch, if you're looking for stock performance, get a stock one, not impressed with this clutch at all.

I have the king cobra and it works great for me. From what i hear the coil packs arent worth it at all. As for the headers go with some mac lts. I have had no problems whatsoever. No leaks and if you ever need to pull the tranny again you dont have to loosen the header because they have better clearance than the other headers. And you can find them for pretty damn cheap on craigslist. Even brand new they are cheap. Other than that go with some gears hands down. A set of 4.10s will put a smile on your face i guarantee it! And lastly as someone already asked why are you getting motor mounts?

and OP since the king cobra has been suggested keep this in mind.

99-01.5 mustang GT's had the t-45 tranny and a 10.5" clutch/flywheel. 01.5-04 they switched to the t-3650 tranny and an 11" clutch/flywheel. if you have an 01.5-04 you cant use the king cobra clutch. since you have a 2001 mustang you will want to find out what transmission you have. check the stickies theres a thread saying how you can figure it out.
