switching to synthetic. which one?

my car has valvoline racing oil in it at the moment....thicker than what you would be running though since im not using a mod motor lol..20w-50

Use old fashioned dino oil for break in and first oil change. The synth is too "slippery" for proper ring seating. I usually start running synth around 5000 miles in my new motors. I've done this with my last 3 motors on the advice of my engine builder. No problems.
