Make sure you have the Ford fuel line disconnect tool and you might as well have a new fuel filter too when you do this.

Thanks for the suggestion. One of the first thing I did when I swapped engines was replace my fuel filter. I believe around December, ao I'm good until about 2yrs after that.

The disconnect tool you're talking is only for the fuel filter right?
To be honest, I didn't use that tool when changing my cousin's cobras filter or mine- and no spillage.

Anyway, thanks again

I already installed my fuel pump. GTRACER, it was simple, just alittle time consuming.

And thanks lizzy for the good suggestion. I deff feel a difference.

BUT, I had a feeling this would happen. The rubber (i think "gormet" idk) around the pipe that goes into the gas tank ripped. Now I spill gas when I turn left. Where do I find this piece and please tell me I don't have to drop the tank to replace it!

go to the ford dealership and you can get one for less than 20 dollars and yes you will have to drop the tank to replace it or atleast low enough to get the filler hose out of the tank
