I just went with FR500 17x9 and 17x10.5's for wheels. I bought Nitto NT05 274/40/17 and 315/35/17 respectively. I went with the 17" versions because not only do you run a nice 315 which puts 12.4" of rubber to the ground, but the 275/40 and 315/35 are the same height, 652mm tall. With 18" wheels, i could not find a staggered combo that has a even height. I will not get the wheels for a bit due to the back order but i cannot wait to see how they look.

315 30 18's and 275 35 18's are the same size. Thats the setup im going to be running next season as the 295 35 18's are a tad too tall for my tastes. And i too got the NT05's and they are awesome tires!!! Just wish they made them in the 315 30 18 size.

That was the problem for me, i wanted NT05's badly and they don't make a matching set for my application in 18's as you stated.

I wish they made the 315 30 18 tire with the NT05's but nobody makes that size tire and if they do, they are expensive as hell!!!

Main reason i opted to go with the 17" wheels versus the 18". I know it limits the ability for big brakes but there is a good deal of options for the 17" wheel yet.

Well with 17" wheels, you can still run 13" front brakes, which is more than most of us need anyways.
