I would opt for the built 2V and put the blower back on and save the car you are attached to.

I will get pictures up tomorrow for sure! I've been very busy lately. Yes, the reason they gave was because they felt it would be wrong to profit from a mishap that ultimately destroyed my engine. I bought a stock motor with 60,000 miles on it to replace the wrecked motor. I haven't really even announced this at all yet, but I ended up buying an 03 Sonic Blue Termi also. I ended up going that route, because I was pretty sure I'd be replacing my tranny and rear axles eventually anyways, it was actually cheaper for me just to buy a Cobra.. given that I sell the GT, which I'm still looking for a buyer. I'm planning on holding on to the termi for a long time... at least 5 years, but honestly, not sure I'll part with it. I'm parting with the GT as a necessary evil, but it must go. I really do love that car, and in many ways, the unsophisticated nature of the GT makes it just as fun, if not more so, than cars that stick like glue to the road. I'll make sure to post lots of pictures of everything.. so stay tuned. Thanks for the support everyone!

How did we go from worrying about cash flow to replace blown motor and blower, to buying a frikain termi AND replacing motor in GT...? Help?

Yeah, wow, i'm pretty jealous and starting to kick myself. I'm thinking about selling my blower and my car, and financing for a Cobra. I should have just done that instead of buying the KB probably, I dont know. Either way gratz to you I wanna say wow again crazy course of action youve taken in the last year or so.

How many miles on the Termi. How much and how did you afford to do the aforementioned things?

I'm caught up on pulling the motor.. everything is ready, but I'm having trouble figuring out a good way to secure the sling around it.. It's hard with the LTs and all that. I bought the "new" motor with 60,000 miles on it for $500. I cleaned it up and it honestly looks pretty damn good if you ask me (see below). Here's the cost analysis:

Sell GT with 60,000 miles on it: ~$8700
Sell KB blower with 1500 miles on it: ~$4300
Sell the huge amount of new in box suspension parts I have: ~$1500
= $14,500

Recently, my family was very generous and gave me a surprise graduation party. A lot of people were there... and honestly they were very generous. Combine that with a new better paying job I have, and I can suddenly afford a termi. So... I found a 03 Sonic Blue in Wisconsin with 35,000 miles that fit my budget.. not to mention I got an awesome deal.

Honestly Hangwire, it makes me sad to see my GT go.. the only reason I'm doing this is because I knew that I was going to hold on to whatever car I put the money into for a long time, and I figured I'll run significant power.. plus I've always wanted an 03/04. It just ended up being cheaper, and gave me a bit more of a fresh start. I loved the KB setup on my GT, and it was hilarious to embarrass tons of cars that just thought it was another Mustang with exhaust and rims. Wait and see how you like the KB on your car.. trust me.. it won't disappoint (unless you have a freak meltdown like my car did). I'm picking up the termi in the first weekend of june.. but I'll put a picture below from the seller.

Ok **** you we arent friends anymore I like your car too much. Only $500 for a 60k motor thats enough relief for me to go ahead and put this KB on. I can easily afford to swap another motor in if it blows. About how much can I expect to be charged for a stock engine install if god forbid I end up with "schmeg-muck" coming out of my engine. What the **** is "Schmeg-muck" anyways lol and who said that on your vid?

I need to find a reputable shop that will return a brutha's call. Got the cold shoulder yesterday from the shop I really wanted to go to so I dont know what to think. Called @ 2pm left my name and number because the receptionist couldnt find the dude I needed to talk to. Never got a return call. When I first called the day I got my blower to ask questions and got the same result, talked to the same people. I ended up calling back that day but I didnt yesterday. I dont want a shop working on my car that doesnt seem as motivated and/or passionate about my car as I am. How should I take this? It almost seems like since I already have an SCT and i'm installing the blower they dont think i'm worth the $300 dyno fee. If thats the case raise the effing price IMO.

Haha yeah don't sweat the motor. It just took a little bit of patience, and I found the one with the right mileage and right price. They're definitely out there. Honestly, I don't know how much the install cost would be since I'm doing it myself, but I'd assume somewhere between $1000-$2000. Haha.. the "schmeg-muck" guy is on this forum.. JT76.. he drives a WS6... and I have no idea what that means. He's hilarious. JT was the cameraman on that fateful day.

It's been my experience with shops that sometimes it's worth traveling for.. now, I'm lucky enough to have a small but reliable network of shops around here. The guys who have helped me out own this small shop locally, they're both in their 60s, and they charge such a small price for what they do! If I were you, I'd look into heading up to Long Island for Mustang Magic, or down to Georgia for Brooksspeed. There are lots of really great shops on the East Coast.. just keep your eye out for em and don't worry yourself the hours it'll take to get there!
