I'll miss the sound. Not to the point to not get the car. The new V8 m3 doesn't sound like a V8 but I would still take one.

I have a 1996 mustang GT and a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6. That's right, the MS6.... why you ask? Simple, when I'm using a car for a DD, there are sooo many more things to consider than speed and the "V8 sound".
lol well who's fault is that to make your mustang an uncomfortable ride to use as a DD? lol

I'll state this AGAIN, Im impressed by what the V6's can do now, it's just not for me. And I hope that for a V6 it doesnt sound like a can full of pissed off bee's. (had a V6 thunderbird and was not pretty with high flow cats and some diff mufflers) (I know 2 diff motors....I know)

there is more than just the sound that makes me not want one....1) i just got my GT 8 months ago and have payments on it 2)my car has 43K mi on it so she is going to last a while 3)I made sure I kept the car "nice" leaving a working AC, upgrades the base system to hear clear music etc. all while getting 26mpg (which is fine for ME)

When/if a new V6 rolls up to me at a light and we go for it and I lose....I'll give credit....but also it IS 7 years newer and clearly technology can take leaps and bounds in that time.

Get one loaded, and like said before throw the SHO turbo on it a tear up the road lol.

Lol. I think he was talking which is prettier the car or the chick driver. Lol!

Glad someone thinks my car looks nice. I'm not digging it too much.

Just in case no one else said it, the V6 is still nasty enough to hold it's own.
zing!! lol

just in case you're wondering, those new v6s are something. nasty enough to hold their own.

EDIT: whats so special about the sho v6? inform me please. the inlet on the turbos is about the size of our key fobs. tiny...

Amen !

Word around the Dearborn design division is that in a year or so you will be able to add the SHO turbo system on there as a direct swap. Turn the boost up , tune it and you have a beast.

I've seen a few 2011 sixxers already. Someone has one down the street....

Another one was driven by a young girl with her friend. I'm assuming high school age.

They will most likely be all over the place this summer.
