Default Torque converter

I have been thinking about swapping to an auto. I found a good deal on a 4r70w. Anyways, I would be getting a converter but don't know much about them other than what they do.

I'm wondering who makes good converters? I found TCI but haven't heard much about other companies.

Also, how do I determine what rpm stall I should go with?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would do Precision Industry.

To determine your stall you want to find your peak torque and you want a stall that is 600-800 rpms below that for a perfect stall.
