EDIT: I just realized I can't find an h pipe with cats that bolts to stock manifolds, does anybody make one?

i think that one is full length, not confident though. but the price tag is ridiculous. why do you want catted? are you in cali or do your brake tag stations have emissions testing? at lower rpms, you'll barely hear a difference between cats n no cats, no cop would be able to tell.

http://www.stangmods.com/MRT-Catalyt...pe-p/00100.htm Damn those are pricey. If you want cats that bad I would buy a cheap h pipe and some cats to put on yourself like these: http://www.americanmuscle.com/slp-ce...converter.html

My car has to pass Jersey emissions tests, and I don't want to have to swap pipes every time I have to go to inspection. These cars don't pass emissions w/o converters do they?

They ought to if you turn off the rear o2 sensors...

You could also just man up and do it anyway....

I'm not so into the 10k dollar per converter missing fine, I'd at least need shells there to pass a visual if I got pulled over. But how would the thing pass emissions w/o converters? How do I just turn off o2 sensors?

with a good tuner or with a MIL eliminator. check cliffyk's write up on it, he has a how-to write up about making your own MIL eliminators.

what do they do for this emissions test? do they just run a test thru your OBD-II port or do they have something that monitors the exhaust gases? either way, you should be able to pass it with just a few minor modifications.

now as far as visual, do they actually look under the cars there? to see the cats, you would hafta either get under the car or use one of those mirror things border patrol uses. i doubt a cop is gonna physically go under your car, as most are either too lazy to do so or would rather not dirty up a clean uniform. and i've yet to see a cop with one of those mirror things who wasn't with border patrol or narcotics. as i said earlier, as long as you're not in the 4000+ rpm range, a cop won't be able to tell you're catless when cruising around. if you're runnin 4k+ rpms when pulled over, im sure you're being stopped for something other than noise and excessive emissions.

Thats what i've heard, who knows how true it is sounds a bit excessive to me, but point is theres a fine, and I don't wanna pay it. I have no problem running cats.
