I think it is because you got the FR500's in chrome...I have some in black on my 04 silver GT and love them.

If you went with black or anthricite...it wouldn't look so bad. The chrome makes it look real busy and you have to focus on wach spoke to see the design. The Cobras look AWESOME on your car because they are simple and you don't have to look at them twice to "figure them out". You see them and can take them for face value.

Looks good, like the stock GT's better than the chrome one's, but those Termi wheels look sick.

i hate those 10th anny wheels, my buddy had them on his white 98 cobra (the ones that were dark gray with a chrome lip) and swapped with the stock 03 cobra rims. WORLDS of difference, good choice bro!

Thanks guys. I actually do like the stock 17" GT wheels, but the 8" width just isn't wide enough for the car, especially on the back. Tires are much cheaper though, hahaha. And, of course, Termi's > stock ANY day

I think the FR500s in anthracite might have looked alright, but yeah, the chrome 10th Anniversary wheels, as you said, were WAY too busy and not right at all for the car.
