Bye bye Flowmasters
^Teej I remember talking to you about setups. I had the reg magnaflows with a o/r x...then got the magnapacks about a month ago...HUGE diff. lol I would suggest getting some packs...unless you don't like the sound of magnaflows in general.
I dont like the sound of magnaflows in general. My catted x is gonna be the biggest factor to me deciding what exhaust I wanna get because it limits me on what mufflers I can use and be able to hear them. lol I was looking at getting some of the Corsa dB series black mufflers(the loudest ones they offer) and having them welded into the catback I'm getting with the IRS just because I want to try them out and they are apparently pretty loud. I like my flowmasters but its time for a change. I probably will miss them and go back to them but i want a change of tone for the time being. The girl that i've been talking to loves the way my car sounds as it sits but I want a change...if we end up dating, it will probably stay with the flowmasters for now. lol
Why did you go with a catted x? emissions?
I would have went catless, then open up your range of muffler choices. Also why weld them in? If you want to change them you have to keep cutting them off.

Yeup, emissions is the reason why I went catted. I had an o/r x on it for a while but it was a b!tch to take on and off for emissions and inspection. So i just sold it for more than i paid for it used and pocketed the money. And there really isnt much of a choice when the magnaflows are already welded into the catback. Gotta cut them out and then have the new ones welded in i guess. Plus catted means I can keep better control over the sound with catted and not everyone is gonna hear me playing
