I think PurpleIce is one of the most random posters...but **** is hilarious.

EE before asking all these questions...do some searching on your own. If it were me, I would jack up the front right and turn the wheel by hand and see if it does the noise. If it does then stick your head in there and LOOK at what could be wrong. You could at least nawwor it down of where you think the noise is coming from. Who knows MAYBE you might even solve the problem yourself??!!


But since it does not do it with the brakes applied, I would think something with the caliper/pads since that is the thing that is moving when on/off the brakes and the noise is dependent on that.

Checked the dust shield today, no rubbing. I switched out the anti rattle clips, drenched the brake pads in brake cleaner and sandpapered.

No results.

You didnt address anything I told you to save for the dust shield. I can't help you if you don't check the things I tell you or answer the questions. Then I'm just going to keep pestering you. Now get back to work Kumar.
