Mid pipe question

WOW...not expecting this from you smitty.....a shiny muffler delete...Look, it's not anything thats rocket science, but it is still tuned, and most people don't have the means or knowledge to build one from sheetmetal in their garage. Besides...It's shiny. lol.

Rockwell you are just digging a hole deeper and deeper...do you know what resonance even is? Know what nodes and antinodes are? Your a idiot if you think a company took a coffee can and stuck it on a pipe and called it done. The length and diameter are specifically chosen given the sound they want to emulate from the exhaust due to the resonant frequencies present.
Have either one of you had a LM1 exhaust and then swapped it out for a set of straight pipes? Ya i didn't think so. STFU.

lmao are you serious your gonna try to FLEX your brain on me and try to get technical guy GTF outta here save that crap for whatever female you impress with it guy it makes me laugh stick with your lm1 if you have them guy ok. as far as me never having 1 like i stated b4 i have had the slp lm1 on the wifes truck trailblazer ss took it off after a few months put th flows back on even she noticed it rode and sounded better with the flows so did the shop that did the install. ran flows, turbo style muffler and str8 pipes on my stang with o/r x. sounded like CRAP so now running mac x with pypes hi flow cats and flow 40s. my exhaust has been changed many times since i had the vehicle Guy. so dont tell me what i have ran on any my vehicles guy. you want to flex you mind flex ya skills. have you ever gotten the chance to shoot back and kill the enemy in afghanistan playboy. dont flex on me guy you dont know the half %50 of my medical discharge is for mental instability not fitting for th army and the other %30 for this titanium rod in my leg. please dont talk crazy to me i was giving the guy who posted the thread my opinion not trying to get into a MEAT swinging contest with you. and i have pics and documents to back up things that i say and have done. lets just drop it between me and you! its all love keep riding baby ;-D

its not a new one he already asked about the LM1s like yesterday or the day b4 just checked the sceen name that pasted that thread. Just avoid those slp's at all cost too many tuned mufflers out there if you want the str8 through sound of the slp save ya money and weld in a str8 pipe vs LM1 or get a small glasspack vs LM2

I agree with you Devon that the muffler may be tuned...but the noise it puts out I just find it hard that they put THAT much time and research into it.
I tried to poke around online on the research and design behind it and their reasoning, but came up short. If you have any info I'd be more than willing to be corrected in my thought process and do some reading.
