Transmission question
Is there anyway to know if I have a 6-bolt or 8-bolt flywheel without taking the trans and clutch down?
The parts guy at a local dealership told me there is no way to to tell without doing all that work....

Aside from physically looking, there is no way to know 100%, as someone could have swapped the motor before. But there is a 99.999999999999% chance you have a 6 bolt. The dealer is a fuggin retard if he thinks it could be "either one" unless the motor blatantly appears as though it has been swapped. It's a 6 bolt.
Edit: just thought of something...pretty sure the romeo engine has 11 bolts on the valve convers. Count the valve cover bolts, if you have more than 11, it is a windsor. If you have exactly 11 on each side, it is a romeo. Romeo=6 bolt Windsor=8 bolt
