oh i planned to delete them, figured it wasnt worth messing with it since with my gears how often will i be under 3000 rpm's. also remember im on the bottle already...

really im looking for enough power to tangle with lightly modded ls cars but pick on other gt's, off the bottle. then be able to pick on modded ls's and cobras on the bottle...
is this enough power? i beat ls cars off the line as it is, they dont catch me until about 70 so im thinking that with another 50hp (no bottle) that should do it without hitting the fun button.

I can only talk about my experiences. I had no issues with a 2011 Mustang V6 automatic on the highway, no issues with stock LT1 F bodies, sucked the doors off from my moms 89 5.7L IROC-Z, destroyed my sisters Mark VIII (Which has no trouble at all smoking my 98 NPI GT), and I lost by about a nose cone to a 2010 Camaro SS automatic.

uber, yes i would love to go big block power BUT not so feasable in a daily driver...

yeah i think im doing it. i just called around to some local pick-n-pulls and am trying to find a deal. worst case scenario i have a local guy with a 97 mark hes parting out, wants $800 for all the stuff i need and its a low mileage car... still cheaper than heads on my gt...

sounds like with this motor if it lasts me a few years that when it comes time to rebuild it this is a very solid platform for forged internals and forced induction....

just got back from a local pick-n-pull, had 3 mark motors, 97's and 98's, all were nice cars but were wrecked real bad. one is a 98, beautiful car, polished paint and no dings other than from the accident. $241 with everything i need for the swap removed from the car and put in my truck. muahahaha i'll have it next week
