Tomorrow after I get home from work i'm starting the install. Going to get as much done as fast as possible so i'm not up against the clock trying to get **** done Sunday night. Dyno on Monday and this is my DD so hopefully everything goes well. I've read over the entire install manual 4-5 times and everything seems practical. The only part i'm a bit confused on is the IAT extension process but i'll work my way through it. Going to pick up my last few pieces of hardware and tools this afternoon. Transmission cooler gets hooked up this afternoon/evening.

Excellent, hope it goes well. Yeah mines my DD too, so I'll be doing it over a weekend like you are. It'll be a while for me though - I'll start acquiring the parts in a week or two.

hey man missed the thread some how but what are you confused aobut with the IAT sensor? Are you doing a blow-through or draw through? The only thing you need to worry about is that the IAT sensor has to be after the blower. If you have a blow through setup, and use a MAF w/ the IAT sensor still in it, (like the stock one, possibly 90mm and others? ), then there is no real need to do anything with the IAT sensor. However if you have a draw through setup, the MAF is still before the blower, so you need to cut the two wires from the MAF for the IAT sensor and move them to a new sensor that is after the blower. (you have to buy this sensor and place into your intercooler piping, UNLESS You have a 99, 00, 01? which the IAT sensor is separate from the MAF, and you can reuse it just move it)

Ok.... that should sum most of it up? lol

Kenne Bell is a whole different ball game. Its essentially their version of a draw through. I'll be relocating(with these retarded Delphi Metri-Pack parts) my IAT to my #1 Cylinder intake manifold after the blower.

Essentially i'm not confused at all on the IAT setup, i'm confused how to put the setup together as I consider this the only bad part of the huge KB install manual. It leaves you confused as to how and where you're supposed to wire in these damn Metri-Pack connectors. If somebody had a good picture of their entire 2.1L KB IAT harness Id be jumping with joy. KB only offers ****ty pictures of each individual step, as opposed to a photo of the "big picture." I'll make it I think...In the end i'll just start soldering **** if I need to because i'm effing pro with a solder gun hell I enjoy soldering.

I'm not sure if KB's setup is different, but do you simply leave the wires that are coming out of the MAF connector cut? Or do you cut and rewire the wires coming from the MAF into the IAT extension?
