Mach 1 gauges in and working, bye bye overlays!
Got them in tonight using this tutorial by "blkthndr03": https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...k-in-a-gt.html
Working very slowly and carefully, it took a whole 30 minutes to do. I swapped the black bezel from my factory GT gauges onto the Mach cluster and added chrome rings, and stuck the grey Mach 1 bezel on the old cluster; this made both of them look a lot better, so I'm keeping the old set. The Mach set now looks like it is made up of individual gauges, and really sells the retro look.
Daylight pic to come tomorrow, these will have to do for now.
Flash sucks:
The old cluster with Mach bezel, and the overlays it used to have (they were the bane of my existence):
Trust me when I say, you do not want overlays; it's a cheap solution to an inexpensive problem.
