LOL. i'm going to drive it tomorrow so we'll see how slow it feels. I drive my focus pretty much every day except fri/sat nights, so i think this car will still feel fast as hell compared to that. .

I went and drove the car over the weekend, drives pretty damn good imo. handled like a dream compared to my '95 lol. only issue with it was the 1-2 shift was really hard on wot, hard enough to where it kicked sideways at the shift. I'm guessing the shift points are a little messed up since we put the 3.73's in and he hasn't calibrated the speedo yet, but if i buy it i'll end up buying my buddies old delta force tuner for it so that's no biggie.

I say buy it if you feel comfortable buying it. Seems like it's a decent car from what you say.

eh, my dad drives a '00 v6 every day in the winter with normal goodyear tires on it. i figure this with blizzaks and some weight in the back wont do too bad. I can get a set of blizzaks, stock 16" wheels, stock height springs, and a delta force for this car for 250 from my buddy. I'm thinking i'll head to the bank tomorrow.
