Default Mach system removal question

My 96 gt had the mach 460 system in it but the back speaker were shot so I bought some speakers. I didn't know aftermarket speaker won't work with the mach system (separate tweeter/woofer wiring). My question is does anyone know the best way to rewire my speakers so I can use aftermarket ones? I also had the radio changed.

u need to rewire the entire system to make everything work like it should. it will be less of a hassle if u ever add anything else later also. i would just redo it all now.

well are your aftermarket speakers just single inputs? if it is, then use the input for the speaker part onto the new speaker. if it has a separate wiring for the tweeter, then use the one from the tweeter on the mach.

and honestly, i would suggest you just go on ebay and buy a better amp for 50-100 bucks and just completely ditch the mach all together since your already replacing the deck and speakers.

i rewired my radio from the mach 460 to just a standard deck cd player and speakers. i was already semi gutting the interior and had all seats removed and some of the panels removed.(i put race seats in and removed back seat and stadard seatbelts in trade with 4 point harnesses). i thought the mach 460 was junk so i went on and replaced it, plus it saved weigt. not hard, just time consuming

That is what i was thinking about doing (rewire system). You're right, it will make it easier if i want to add other things to it.
