A TFS head with an Edelbrock intake has now run a high 9 second quarter mile time NA at 10,000+RPM shifts. So when you consider how much airflow you really need for your 7000RPM max street motor.....................

I wish I had the bank to test this theory myself. I still feel like bolting a pair of new TFS heads onto my car would gain me a nice increase in RWHP. My heads are holding me back now.

I can't personally attest to potential gains in my configuration, but I have discussed this issue with a few shops/tuners that have installed TFS heads and they swear to me that I would see a VERY NICE bump in power.

I would love to see before and after dyno sheets of a configuration similar to mine with only the heads changed, but there is not much chance of that being the only mod between dyno pulls. Also, guys with bank to fund the TFS heads are more likely to invest in a blower or turbo than go that route with a set-up like mine...

If anyone can find some dyno sheets, please post them up.

DWJTR - build your own S trim kit man!
LOL I wasn't really thinking of trying to exploit the full potential of those heads. I was thinking more in terms of not exploiting the full potential of the heads I have on the car now.
