Default 100,000 miles - anything I should be concerned about?

Hello,

I am in the process of purchasing a 2000-2002 Mustang base model or GT.

Everything in my price range is at or around 100,000 miles. I don't know anything about Mustangs, can someone tell if I should steer clear of Mustang with 100,000 plus miles.

Is there anything specifc that need replacing with high miles or I should worry about?

Any help is great! Thanks!!

If the car was taken car of 100k on a 4.6 isnt bad at all. Any time you buy a car that old there will be something that pops up sooner or later but you should be good. I woul suggest changing your fuel filter and sparkplugs when you get one though.

Cool thanks! I just know, I used to have a 1997 Camaro v6,(105,000 miles) 7 months after I bought it the injectors died/clogged which soaked the eninge and stripped the bearings..... Found out those year injectors are commonly a problem on Chevy's.

So I wasn't sure if there was something like that I should be aware of.

There's someone on here with a 3.8 Mustang that has over 520,000 miles on it. All stock minus the belt, plugs, wires.
