It would be an easy $18k to $20k if unmolested with a clean engine, and if it really was a single owner vehicle with only 47k miles on it...

Very true.... although seeing the pics & a dirty engine bay has me on the the fence. Also, didn't i read a poster who said it was in an accident? I don't know if that is/was true. Never checked. Personally, I would have passed on the sale. Too many unknowns. Maybe if i was a mech/gear head who knew alot i may have taken a chance. But i am not. lol

Cliffy, that picture of the Cobra engine bay makes me really pissed and sad

Any self-respecting Mustang owner would take 100x better care than that person did, but i am glad it sold for way less than if it was clean!

I wouldn't have gone near it with a specially built 11' pole. It had been crashed twice according the the history report--once in the left rear (it was towed) and once in the left front.

Beside the engine's appearance, which I find very suspicious, something about the interior looks off to me. The dash and package tray have that faded/dusty "been in a junk yard for some time" look.

I bet it smells like a junk yard car, that baked in the sun musty smell...
