AUTO SWAP initial track results!!!

I'm going to be getting the pan Alan has on his website. I also have his 3/8" lines right now. Might get a bigger cooler also.
Are you going with Alan's pan and lines?
And what kind of results should you see from removing the torque reduction? I haven't adjusted anything on my converter and it's lock up schedule.

I know I have saved hundreds of dollars by having my Delta Force kit. I love the fact that all I need to do is open a program on my computer to write a completely custom tune for my car instead of paying someone else and scheduling time on their dyno and all that BS. The track is my dyno.....

I used to make runs on the country roads around here, but it's hard to tell if minor adjustments are making much of a difference. I cant tell by my ET and trap speed whether or not minute changes to timing and shiftpoints are benefiting me or not. I use those two things in combination with my wideband to mess with the fuel.
I have heard of the Data Scout, but I don't have it yet. I am still using the Recon software. I see by your post that you really like the Scout stuff. What does it do that Recon doesn't? Or what does it do better?

Simple answer, it integrates the wideband into the logging. The Recon is, for all intents and purposes, the more informative tool.. but the scout can log wideband at the same time. I usually run them both that way I can get a file with my rpm vs a/f and all the other info I need.
also, the Scout had a built in 0-60 and dyno feature. The dyno feature is good to compare before after with as it is repeatable. Its not to far off either.

I'll have to look into that. I wonder if it will work in conjunction with my dynojet wideband commander. I don't think it would be worthwhile to change my wideband since it already datalogs the a/f against rpm, tps and maf voltage. It has other inputs available but those are the only three I have hooked up.

Nice HOSS. I'll definitely look into that. It would be nice for everything to catalog in the same program.
To PI, yeah I just bought the advanced tuning/engine management book (can't remember the author of the top of my head) that is available through pretty much anywhere that sells books. Some knowledge in the theory behind tuning and why certain changes/setting are important is key to the tuning process. The software itself is learned mostly by experience using it. Although any questions you have can be answered by either utilizing their forum @ snipertuningforums.com or just calling them directly. They have awesome customer service and will walk you through just about anything.
