I've been in school for 6 years straight non stop. I just said "**** It, I need a break" and dropped my DOPT program. I still don't want to go to Med school and I'm burnt out on these stupid Doctorate Of programs that keep changing the degrees on me. I'm going to take the rest of the summer to decide what I want to be when I grow up because right now I have no clue. My wife said to just be a PA or an Anesthesiology but I'm not to thrilled about my school options for those.

Oh, and the poison Ivy on my face is making me bitter and grumpy. [edit: and whinny]

Since we're all discussing education... I just took 2 finals. I went to sell a book back to my schools book store. I bought the book from them 3 months ago for $160 (Amazon had it for $200, it's a new edition). They told me they're buying it back for $5. WTF. I'm
starting another 2 classes on the 5th and ended up spending another $400 on books.

Not being allergic to poison ivy ftw.

Speed kills, it may just be me and my migraine, but that car looks like it's never seen wax. However, due to the price, I would definitely go check it out in person. Trade you my SRA for the IRS

 

sounds about right, even though schools are not technically supposed to make money off book sales they rip off students.

 

Our book store is suppose to be owned by our student co-op association. They're suppose to "benefit" the students, not the school. They advertise that all over the place, it really pisses me off.
