The bumper cover doesn't come anywhere near the intercooler. To get the 4" thick one like mine to fit you have to either cut the bumper support(very bad and dangerous) or get a tubed bumper support like the one I have.
The way I routed my piping I lost my fog lights (which is fine by me, things sucked anyways) but my cold pipe is almost a completely straight shot up to the t/b.
I also had all of my piping welded, cuz couplings suck. This was a cxracing 32x12x3 core with 3" piping
That sucks, I kept my fog lights and I had over 16" of straight pipe before the MAF. Tuner told me he never say a maf reading so smooth. Maybe the 96-98 bumper is different.

I'm sure I could have routed it so I didn't lose the fogs... but I honestly just didn't care. It was the most direction routing and like I mentioned before, the fogs weren't that big of a deal to me.
Actually the supercharger is gone now... so I have to decide whether I even want to put them back in or not.
I just dont see how my IC is supposed to fit lol.... Without cutting anyway... Ill give it a shot again today.. Its super cold out so I must move quickly
I had to trim a little here and there... and I also enlarged the area where the filter goes through the inner fender to allow the cold pipe to come through.
