Default aftermarket deck w/ mach 460. No sound :(

I'm having issues trying to get the speakers to work with this aftermarket deck and have a few questions. I have the Harness adapter which is hooked up to the widest
Back of aftermarket deck (top) and stock Mach 460 CD Deck (bottom)

Widest plug goes with the aftermarket deck, I know that but when it comes to audio I can't get sound. Which set of wires does what????? I'm assuming these wires go to the aftermarket deck.

I'm assuming these two wires go to the CD Deck.

but since its using the mach 460 amps which set of wires control the speakers audio???

oh btw, It's a 97 mustang gt convertible.

Ran into the same similar problem about two months ago installing my Clarion in-dash TV w/ my MACH1000 stereo. You need special wire harnesses, and there were two separate ones that I needed to get. They are easy to find online but impossible to find in best buy, walmart, PC Richard...had to go to a specialty shop becuase I have no patience to wait a week for them to be ordered online lol.

A lot of people frown on this decision that I made, but I went with this:

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1207055...s.html?tp=2977

It attaches to the black square 8 pin connector and turns it into RCA plugs, which you can then attach to your head unit. I also have a Clarion in dash DVD unit, and this sounds fantastic. I have no future plans to put a giant amp/sub in my car, so this lets me reuse the factory amp and it sounds incredible.

I picked up a harness at Bestbuy. Problem solved

Damn, the Mach 460 really puts out!

Only thing is i need a voltage regulator to avoid the "pop" when its powering on/off. No biggie for now. Thanks for your help fellas.

Congratulations dude. Yeah, it really does put out. Mine still has an occasional popping when I'm listening to music through my iPod connection. I redid all of my connections and still can't figure out where that's coming from.
