The plate is a much better injection and you will feel a harder hit. The nitrous and fuel are mixed and atomized better than with a nozzle kit. Zex is good, I run the zex wet kit with a fogger nozzle. When you get the zex nozzle, it should go from the box to the trash.

With the power you have to be making with the heads and cams, a 75 shot will window your block like a fishtank, I would not advise a shot until you have a block that can handle it or you will be on borrowed time

I have just the stock heads. I wish I had done something with them when I did cams...
My car makes anywhere between 280-300rwhp depending on which dyno in my town you believe. My tuner thinks I am completely safe with a 100 shot, but I think a 75 would obviously be safer.

You will be fine with a 100 shot. Get a good tune and all of the safety equipment though.

JayC has been spraying a 150 shot on top of his CMS stage 2 cammed GT for a long time now. Obviously, he has a good tune.

To be completely honest, I don't think the cams you have are going to work that great with nitrous. The CMS stage 2's work well because the cams favor the exhaust side, your HiTech's are great for NA but they favor the intake side. Don't get me wrong, they should work fine, but with nitrous getting the a/f into the cylinder isn't the problem...its getting it out of the cylinder.

Don't be surprised if those Hitech cams do unsuspectingly well on the juice. Reason i say that is because my MHS stage 2's are kind of set up like the Hitech stage 2's, only on a smaller scale, and they responded very well to the nitrous. So much so in fact my tuner had to back the 100 shot down a little. Initially, it was like 412 rwhp & 520 rwtq IIRC. Even though a/f was fine, he just didn't like those numbers i guess. So, that would've been a 128 rwhp & 220 rwtq gain just on a 100 shot.

Lol yeah i know right! My tuners first words were "those are connecting rod bending numbers." On that run it actually over spun the dyno momentarily or the clutch slipped for a second. Not sure which.

He said the torque scared him more than the horsepower numbers lol.

If the grinds are nearly the same, I'm surprised it picked up like it did. Is the valve overlap on the two grinds the same also?

On a side note, what size nitrous jet are you using?

How do you guys think cms stage one N/A cams would do on a 100 shot plate kit?
